Position: Acquisitions Manager
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Acquisitions professional to lead a portion of our strategic expansion efforts and drive the growth of our new car franchised automotive real estate portfolio. The Acquisitions Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and executing property acquisitions that align with our investment strategy and long-term goals.
Responsibilities:
- Deal Sourcing: Proactively identify potential acquisition opportunities through direct prospecting, cold calling, market research, industry relationships, networking, and other relevant channels.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, finance, and the general partners, to ensure seamless execution of the acquisition process.
- Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that may impact the acquisition landscape within your assigned area.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain and grow a robust pipeline of acquisition opportunities, tracking progress and managing communications with sellers and intermediaries near term and long term.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on acquisition activities, progress, and performance to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, with a demonstrated track record of successfully sourcing, negotiating, and closing transactions, preferably within the automotive or commercial real estate sector.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive, real estate valuation techniques, due diligence processes, and legal and regulatory considerations.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools, including Microsoft Excel, CRM systems, and financial analysis software.
Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, along with deal based commissions.
Location: Remote available or at one of our regional offices in Philadelphia, PA or Washington D.C.
